On behalf of the people of Queens, I extend condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Department of Sanitation worker Frank Justich, who was killed Tuesday while performing his duties on a busy streetcorner in Astoria.



By all accounts, he was a wonderful father and a hardworker, much beloved and greatly respected by the residents and businesses he served so well.



We join them in mourning his death.
