Health Services in Queens
Health services are available for all residents of Queens
New York City provides a wide range of health services to disabled residents.

Queens Cares
The Advisory Council for Persons with Disabilities works to suggest courses of action to improve the quality of life for persons with disabilities in the borough of Queens. The council works at the discretion of the Borough President.

The council is divided into various sub-committees as to better address the challenges that face the disabled community in Queens.

This includes the committee on training and employment, health, services, education, legislative issues, public information-advocacy and programs. The members of each group bring their expertise from their various fields of work and utilize it to suggest change to the Borough President.

The task force meets the third Tuesday of every month, between 2 and 4 PM in Room 213 at Boro Hall. For more information, please call Seema Rambaran at (718)-286-2680.
