Friends of Maple Grove is starting a “Literary Sunday Reading Series”, to take place 4 times a year at the Victorian Building in Maple Grove Cemetery to be hosted by Queens writer Mary Lannon. There is limited seating, so please RSVP early!
The first Literary Sunday will take place on Sun. 10/8/17 from 1 PM to 3 PM featuring Queens writers, Meera Nair and Nancy Agabian. Memoirist Nancy Agabian and Fiction Writer Meera Nair will read from their latest work. There will also be an open mic and light refreshments. Our host will be Mary Lannon. Her short stories have been published at *Story,* and *New World Writing,* and her book reviews at *Prick of the Spindle.* At work on a second novel, she is looking for a publishing home for her first novel . She lives in Kew Gardens and teaches composition and creative writing at Nassau Community College.
Free admission, free parking on cemetery grounds. The Victorian Building is located just inside the gate at Kew Gardens Rd. & Lefferts Blvd.
