Hospitality Industry – Returning to Work: One Step at a Time
Prior to reopening your restaurant or hotel, consideration needs to be given to a host of human resource and workplace legal issues. This webinar will review the status of employees post-shutdown; startup/onboarding issues; wage and hourly liability; avoiding discrimination lawsuits; accommodating disabilities and minimizing legal risks. About the Speakers: Carolyn Richmond is Co-Chair of the Hospitality Practice Group for Fox Rothschild, LLP. She counsels employers in the hospitality industry. Ms. Richmond has extensive experience in litigating wage and hour class actions, restrictive covenants, and employment discrimination cases. In 2019, Cornell University’s ILR School awarded her the Judge William B. Groat prize, the school’s highest honor. Alex Bogdan is a labor and employment attorney with Fox Rothschild, LLC, and has worked with clients in a wide array of industries including hospitality. He represents small businesses as well as national and international clients in all aspects of labor and employment law, including wage-and-hour, discrimination, and sexual harassment litigation.
